Now that I am approaching retirement, I would like to do more traveling. It would be wonderful to have a travel partner with whom to enjoy the sights. I like historical locations, adventure travel, and relaxing beach vacations. My most memorable travel experiences have been to Moscow, the Galapagos, and scuba diving in the Virgin Islands.
I am an avid tennis player, have recently become addicted to golf, and have just begun to learn pickleball. I enjoy doing crosswords, playing Scrabble, and reading. I usually have several books on my night stand or in my living room, including fiction, non-fiction, historical fiction, and an audio book in my car.
My perfect match would be a man who is honest almost to a fault, someone who is not afraid to express emotions and communicate them, and someone who is intelligent and can challenge my ideas in a non-confrontational way. He will be passionate about his life, his ambitions, his work, and his play. He will treat values with the utmost integrity, and respect mine. He will be funny when appropriate and serious when it matters. We will recognize that there is a special chemistry between us and that we feel natural and comfortable being ourselves with each other.
I am looking for a companion to do things with, from the mundane (watching a movie at home) to the exciting (traveling to exotic places). I am looking for someone with whom I can share stimulating conversations over a good bottle of Merlot or a robust cup of coffee.
