Ok guys, none of this “I’m a simple, fun, down-to-earth girl who loves to go to the beach and the movies.” I’m going tell it like it is, because I want you to get to know me before you even click the message bar.

I’m an Indian American (not American Indian) – yes, the curry kind. But I eat all kinds of curry, not just Indian: Thai, Malaysian, Tibetan…. In fact, I eat most foods, period (just nothing with eyeballs, ok? In case you’re planning on us going to dinner). I can even be seen stuffing my face unashamedly with the all-American burger stacked high with everything but the kitchen sink. But that’s less common than the average UFO sighting.

Let’s get to the good stuff. I LOVE psychology and spirituality. I adore taking deep plunges into the mind, psyche, and soul to recover new insights about the self and the universe. [I’m a Gemini, can you tell?]. Take me to a metaphysical store, and I’m a kid in a candy shop!

I love to play, but I also love to work hard. Because of my love of the inner world of thoughts, feelings, and spirituality, I have chosen a career in psychology. I am hoping for a partner who also works hard, so that we can both relish in our accomplishments.

And I hope for partner who plays hard. Gentleman, I do NOT want a homebody. Yes, it’s nice to have some nights at home just decompressing and binge-watching Netflix. But I need someone adventurous, outgoing, and crazy about travel. I want a busy social life, not weekends at home in our PJ’s.

Yes, I said, “our.” I am looking for a serious long-term relationship. If marriage comes from that, that’s just the cherry on top. The bottom line is I am looking for someone with whom to grow old, laugh a hell of a lot, and hug when we crash through the myriad mistakes we humans make.
Are you still with me? Good, well consider yourself: don’t just message me with something silly like, “Hey beautiful,” or “hi” or “How are you?” Give me substance, and I’ll give you something worth writing home about.
