I am a fun, romantic, affectionate, and intelligent guy with a good sense of humor, excellent grammar, and a sense of adventure. Truth be told here, I’m the “other” kind of doctor—I have a PhD in political science. I speak Russian and German. I do research, teach, and am in the early stages of a great career (in case that all sounds WAAAAY too serious, I’m also kind of a goofball who plays in a hard rock band). I am interested in meetings doctor because I really enjoy the energy and spirit of people who devote their energy to helping other people. I am separated, soon to be divorced from a doctor, and I was always inspired by the dedication to patients she and her colleagues displayed. I also confess that I find it works well for me if my partner has her own career, and doesn’t need to be defined by her man. I am happy to support her in her career any way I can. I have my own stuff going on. I guess what I’m saying here is that, understanding that each other’s time is at a premium, I am looking for a woman who wants to make the time we are together really spectacular, but who doesn’t need someone constantly smothering them. I would like to find someone who knows what she wants in life and who wants a partner who encourages and supports her. In return, I ask that I be respected and appreciated for that support, and that we take time to make sure each other’s personal and personal needs are met in a relationship. In re-reading this, it sounds very unromantic and perhaps even clinical, which is funny because that’s not me at all—I’m totally romantic and spontaneous, actually.
